Danny came home from preschool yesterday with this adorable bunny that he made.
Don't you just love seeing your little kid's hand prints? I sure do.
Later, as he was washing his hands before bed, he told me that the teachers painted his hands at school.
I told him that I saw his bunny ear hand prints and that I thought they were very cool (not cute because cute is for girls).
I said, "Did it feel weird when they painted your hands?"
He replied, "Yeah! Weird! Like you!"
I'm going to just go ahead and take that in the nicest way possible and not have my feelings hurt.
He's only 4, after all.
Maybe he was just trying to be funny, not share his true feelings about his dear mother.
When he's 14 and tells me I'm weird, then I'll be totally offended.

On a totally unrelated note (but too cute to not share):
This kid turned 9 months old yesterday and I'm in love with his curls.

Very cool bunny. And I swear I was looking at a picture of Judy from when she was a baby - I love the curls too!
Danny is correct - you are weird in the nicest possible way of course. And LOVE the hair!
The art work is one of the many reasons I adore having child.
Oh, and weird in my world means totally cool!
I'm in love with the baby under those curls. Aren't you?!
