a little unsolicited help

I figured out how to get Danny to help with the daily cleaning around here.

Don't ask.

Just leave a sink full of water, bubbles and dirty dishes within his reach.

(If it wasn't hazardous to small children, I'd leave the bottle of Windex and a roll of paper towels within his reach too.)

If you can't whistle while you work, you might as well hum.

What a thorough washer and happy worker! I'd like to recruit him at my house.

He gets that helpful attitude from his daddy.

It looks like you taught him how to work. His grandpa will be so happy!

Yes, Jamie. That plate was very very clean by the time he finally rinsed it.

Oh, Anonymous! Knowing how to work is of utmost importance. Everyone knows that.

That's priceless! I didn't know you had a double oven! I want one! :) Did you make the dishcloth? Please may I keep your children??

C.K., I'll give you my double oven if you give me that house with a triple garage! I like the other one better though. (I'm commenting on your blog post on my own blog. How rude.) I think my mother-in-law made the dishrag. I don't do crafty. And yes, you may keep my children for as long as you want.
