happy family

I was busy cleaning out some junk drawers yesterday.
I made stacks for papers needing to be filed,
stacks for receipts,
piles of stuff to take to other junk drawers in other rooms
and piles of pictures.

Danny climbed up on a chair to "help" me.
This picture of our little family was sitting on top of the picture pile.
He picked it up and exclaimed,

"Wook! It's a appeee dan-duh-leeee!
We are appeee dan-duh-leeee!"

There's a song we sing around this house on occasion.
You might have heard it in Primary.
Our version goes something like this:

I love Daddy.
He loves Cate.
We love Mommy.
She is great.
She loves Danny and so you see,
We are a happy family.

I was hoping that if I sung that song to him enough times he'd believe it.
Good to know he does.
And that we are.
