Yesterday was his birthday. It's all Danny could talk about. He reminded me several times throughout the day.
Know who birfday is? It Mee-mo birfday!
Danny picked out this tractor puzzle for Emo. He also insisted that we give him a cake with a candle on top. When we went over to Emo's house to bestow the gifts, Danny clammed up. He wished Emo a happy birthday but that's about it. No singing.
Emo opened the present. He seemed about as thrilled as a 73-year-old man could be upon receiving a 60 piece tractor puzzle. Danny was upset that we couldn't stay and put it together right away. It was 9:00 at night after all.
Carolyn smoothed things over with a popsicle and off we went.
