I have to add some background about this song.
Cathy bought a book with the lyrics to "God Bless America" about two years ago. It quickly became one of my favorite books to read/sing to him at bedtime. Around the time Danny turned two, he decided he preferred his mother put him to bed. Consequently, he stopped having this song sung to him regularly. Recently Cathy started singing it again to him, although with much less vigor than me. Danny, however, likes to sing it like his daddy taught him.
